Introduction to Academic Advising E-learning Course (link)

We have designed a self‐paced e‐learning course, Introduction to Academic Advising, which introduces the basic concepts of academic advising, including its values, goals, theories and practice.

The highlights of this 2‐hour e‐learning course include Effective Advising Skills in dealing with students who have low motivation for study, poor time management, and are not responsive to the invitation by academic advisor.

You can access the course OGUR0001_20141_A "Introduction to Academic Advising" on Blackboard ( Certificate of Completion will be issued to participants who completed 70% or above of the course (including two case studies in Unit 7 & 8) and the evaluation form (Unit 10).
