On 22 September 2025, the Renmin University of China – The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Youth Student Exchange Forum was held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Attendees included Wang Yi, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of Renmin University of China; Shen Qiping, Associate Vice President of PolyU; as well as representatives from the Youth League Committee and the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office of Renmin University of China, and the Student Affairs Office, the Office of Institutional Advancement and the Mainland Development Office of PolyU. During the forum, volunteers for commemorative event services, members of the mass choir, and student representatives from the "Shanbei Public School" drama troupe of Renmin University of China exchanged ideas and shared their thoughts with representatives from PolyU’s Drama Club, Flag-raising Team, Choir, and Chinese Mainland Students Association.
