Alumni Association

The CBS Alumni Association (to be revised as LST Alumni Association soon) was established in 1997. It is our pleasure to welcome alumni to remain engaged with LST and to reconnect with friends, colleagues and teachers. The objectives of the Association are:

• to coordinate social activities and gatherings for our alumni to reunite on a regular basis, so that they can exchange industry-related information and share life and working experiences;
• to create and expand effective networks for personal and career development;
• to maintain long-term relationships between alumni and their alma mater;

All students who have attended a programme offered by LST (or in the Department of Chinese and Bilingual Studies (CBS), or the Department of Chinese, Translation & Interpretation (CTI), as LST was formerly known) are eligible to join the Association after graduation and, by doing so, they will automatically become members of The Federation of the Hong Kong PolyU Alumni Associations.

Executive Committee

The Alumni Association is overseen by a team of executive committee members who are LST alumni. The committee members are nominated and elected at a General Meeting. After being appointed they are required to serve a two-year term.
