Master of Science in Generative AI and the Humanities

MSc in Generative AI and the Humanities (MScGAH) aims to explore the intersection between the fields of AI and humanities and combine the technical aspects of generative AI with critical insights from the humanities to prepare students for a wide range of emerging roles that require a nuanced understanding of AI’s impact on human history and culture, communication, and creativity


The interdisciplinary nature of the programme sets it apart from traditional AI or humanities programmes, making it a trailblasing initiative in the academic landscape. The integration of AI knowledge and skills with insights derived from literature, culture, language, design, and fashion creates a unique and holistic educational experience.

Medium of Instruction: The programme is delivered in English and Chinese (Chinese [Putonghua] is only used for electives subjects in translation and Chinese arts and culture).
