Vision愿景
The vision of the JRCMI is to be a world-leading centre of excellence of research and technology transfer in the area of marine structures and contribute to the development of durable, smart and high-performance sea-crossing bridges, floating structures and offshore wind turbines.

Mission使命
Towards this vision, the missions of the JRCMI are 为了实现这一愿景，JRCMI的任务是:
- to conduct interdisciplinary research in marine civil structures 进行海洋土木结构的跨学科研究;
- to pursue transformational research in marine structures, enabling improved structural safety and functionality with economic management and maintenance 进行海洋结构的转型研究，通过经济的管理和维修，提高结构的安全性和功能;
