Summary

There will be a seminar on product life cycle design to be delivered by Dr Moreno, Mariale who is an academic fellow in the centre for competitive creative design at Cranfield University. It is part of School of Water, Energy and Environment. Her areas of expertise are in circular economy, design and data-driven innovation. Her work of research focuses on the interpretation and analysis of consumer data to foster innovation. She has led research activities in collaboration with Cisco, The Clearing, Philips and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation to find business opportunities by developing  user-centred design interventions. In the past, she collaborated at the CIE-MAP Research Centre, an EUED inter-university research project between industry and academic partners looking at reducing materials and energy demand. She has also collaborated at the Royal Society of Arts and the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design on topics around behavioural change.
