Technical visit to DHL Central Asia Hub

The DHL Central Asia is one of the three global hubs in the world capable of handling 125,000 shipments per hour and 1.06 million tons per year.  This visit allowed participants to have a close look to the cargo handling system.

On 22 August 2025, we started our journey with security check outside DHL Central Asia Hub.  A group picture was taken at the lobby, after that we were led into a meeting room where we had an introduction of DHL Central Asia Hub with a video.  The DHL Central Asia Hub was opened in 2004 with 1st phase expansion in 2008, and 2nd phase investment in capacity in 2017.  In 2023, the 3rd phase expansion was also completed.

Before we entered the working area, all of us had to wear safety vests and overshoes.  Another group photo was taken at the ground floor next to the airport restricted area.  After the tour, we returned to the meeting room for a short discussion, and there we had a souvenir presentation.  The event ended at 12:45 pm, overrun by 15 minutes.
