Financial assistance mainly comes from two sources, the HKSAR Government and PolyU, as follows:

• Tuition Waiver for Local Research Postgraduate Students
• Government Tertiary Student Finance Scheme - Publicly-funded Programmes
• Government Non-Means-tested Loan Scheme
• PolyU Financial Assistance Scheme

Students are strongly advised to ensure their eligibility in applying for different financial assistance schemes.

Non-local RPg students are not eligible for financial assistance from PolyU or the HKSAR Government. They are therefore advised to secure sufficient funds before enrolling the RPg programmes at PolyU.
