If a thesis is to remain confidential for a period of time after completion of the work, an application shall be submitted to the D/SRC for approval by the RPg student or the Chief Supervisor. A thesis may be kept confidential for a maximum of two years on the ground of patent application or prior agreement with project collaborator. Thesis not ready for publication is not a justifiable ground for keeping a thesis confidential.
