Thesis review and oral examination |
Students will need to submit two theses from the same research topic (written in English and Chinese). Thesis review will be conducted separately according to the requirements of PolyU and PI. The Board of Examiners (BoE) shall be formed separately according to the regulations of each university to assess thesis and conduct oral examination. One oral examination will be conducted at PolyU. Examination documents from both institutions will be completed at the examination. Partner institution requires their BoE of at least 7 members. Chief supervisors from PolyU and PI need to attend the oral exam. |
Continuation fee |
Students failing to submit their thesis by the end of the normal study period will be required to pay continuation fee to PolyU. |
Study arrangement |
The first- and second-year study at PI, third- and fourth-year study at PolyU. |
