Thesis review and oral examination |
Students will need to submit a single thesis, thesis review will be conducted separately. One oral examination will be conducted in English. As a general rule, the Student is expected to defend their thesis at the Home University. Examination documents will be prepared and completed by the respective Universities. Chief supervisors from both PolyU and the partner university need to attend the oral exam. |

Continuation fee |
Students will be required to pay miscellaneous fees such as continuation and examination fees. |

|
Study arrangement |
Students are expected to study at the Home University and fulfil the residence requirement before studying at the Host University. For PolyU 4-year PhD students are expected to register initially at PolyU for the first 12- month period before commencing their formal registration at LU. For other students, they will be expected to register concurrently at both universities. |
