Emotional Health on Campus
Being psychologically fit helps us to overcome life’s hurdles. The Couselling and Wellness Section (CWS), Student Affairs Office (SAO) strives to enhance students' psychological, physical and spiritual wellness. We provide proactive and professional counselling service, physical education/sports development and wellness promotion programs that support students’ holistic wellness development.
Psychological wellness: to enhance students' awareness and acceptance of a wide of range of feelings, as well as their ability to handle negative emotions and cope with stress effectively
Physical wellness: to encourage students to take care of their body for optimal health and functioning, as well as to maintain a healthy lifestyle that allows them to get through daily activities without undue fatigue or physical stress.
Spiritual wellness: to facilitate students in the search for meaning and purpose in human existence and assist them to develop a deep appreciation for the depth and expanse of life.
