Cost and Contract Section provide support for other teams in regard to quantity surveying.
- Providing all pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying services for works contracts which include but not limited to repairs and maintenance works
- Arranging contract procurement / tendering
- Assist in financial planning, funding application and cost control of accounts and budget allocated to FMO and monitor all relevant accounts and budgets
- Formulate, review and update the standards and specifications, regulations and procedures on tendering, procurement and contract administration
- Preparation of consultancy agreement
- Liaise with and monitor Consultant QS in accordance with their consultancy agreement and settle with consultant in respect of their fee etc.
- Advise on selection of procurement strategy, contractual matter and insurance
- Audit the daily operation in compliance with procedures laid down in FMO Internal Circular on tendering, procurement, contract administration and financial matters.
