Participating in the Cambridge Mathematics Programme was valuable both academically and personally. It strengthened my problem-solving and analytical thinking by exposing me to challenging mathematical ideas and a more discussion-based approach to learning. Beyond academics, living and studying in Cambridge allowed me to build new friendships and become more confident interacting in a diverse environment. I also gained greater independence, adaptability, and an appreciation for Cambridge’s academic culture and traditions. Overall, the programme helped me grow not only as a student but also socially and personally.

BSc (Hons) in Computer Science & BSc (Hons) in Data Science & Analytics
This one-week exchange was both relaxing and enriching. I had the opportunity to stay in Girton College’s dormitory, dine in its dining hall, and experience authentic British cuisine and student meals. At the same time, I deepened my knowledge of linear algebra, statistics, and artificial intelligence. The experience was truly eye-opening, as it allowed me to gain a better understanding of Cambridge student life and briefly step into the shoes of a Cambridge student. I particularly enjoyed socialising with fellow participants, from freshmen to seniors. Whether visiting the pub, playing basketball, discussing life, or enjoying card games, we created many memorable moments together.

During my travels in the UK, I experienced the country's diverse culture first-hand. The courses at Girton College were challenging but rewarding. I learned about suffix notation in linear algebra and also gained a basic understanding of machine learning. Beyond the classroom, the Programme gave me the chance to make friends from many different countries. We often worked on projects together and exchanged ideas about our studies and lives. This not only improved my knowledge but also broadened my horizons. I truly valued this experience.

Through the Girton Mathematics Summer Programme, I strengthened my mathematical knowledge and developed a deeper understanding of advanced topics beyond my regular coursework. The lectures improved my problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, while time spent at Girton College allowed me to experience Cambridge's academic environment, improve my communication skills, and build friendships with students from different countries. This was really great opportunity to have with students and professors. I knew about new concepts even in 1 week. I really enjoyed the Girton college and cultural activities.
