Associate Professor Wee Leong LEE is the Vice President for Learning Services at the Singapore University of Social Sciences, where he leads the university’s efforts in digital innovation for adult education. He oversees major initiatives that strengthen teaching and learning, from technology enhanced pedagogy and data informed practices to the strategic use of artificial intelligence to support student success. His work centres on building flexible and inclusive learning systems.
He is a key driver behind iSmartGuide, an AI powered learning platform that combines structured guidance, self-directed study, and personalised feedback. The platform has been featured at international conferences and recognised through regional awards, establishing SUSS as a leader in technology enabled adult learning.
Beyond platform innovation, he leads cross functional teams of learning designers, technologists, data specialists, and faculty partners. He works closely with academic and industry partners to explore new approaches to learning and the future of work.
