Summary

Majoring in English at university does not only mean studying English literature or becoming an English teacher.

Join our workshop to understand how the BA (Hons) in English and Applied Linguistics (BAEAL) at PolyU can actually open up a large variety of career opportunities for students!

Register for our live workshop to learn about several of the potential career pathways open to BAEAL students:

  • Mr Almon Kwan, Director of FDMT Consulting, will help you pinpoint your career interests and gain an informed overview of some popular jobs for English majors in the fields of public relations, human resources, advertising and marketing, and media and publishing.
  • Watch a presentation by one of our BA students where she discusses student life in our programme at PolyU. This will be followed by an opportunity for you to ask questions about applying to the BAEAL programme and to gain early insight into university student life!

Target participants: Secondary 4 to 6 students, or equivalent
Free of charge

* An attendance certificate will be issued to each participant who joins the programme and completes an online survey.
