EEC welcomed incoming students during EEE’s Orientation Days on August 29 and September 5. The two-day event introduced new students to our laboratory space, current projects, and hands-on engineering opportunities.
Event Highlights
Visitors toured the EEC facility and interacted directly with student developers working on active engineering projects:
-
Laboratory Tour: Students explored our maker space and learned how project teams design, prototype, and build their ideas.
-
Underwater Robotics: Attendees operated student-built underwater robots and discussed the control systems used in underwater robotics.
-
CLP Generator Inspection Robot: The team presented a live demonstration of the award-winning generator inspection robot, explaining its real-world application in industrial monitoring.
-
Aircraft Fuel Tank Inspection Robot: Students reviewed the project’s development goals and tested our latest prototype.
Upcoming Opportunities
EEC will host technical workshops, mini underwater robotics competition in the coming weeks. Event details and application forms will be published on our official channels.
