“We learn to serve, and serve to learn” – PolyU brings home the Teaching and Learning Strategy of the Year award at THE Awards Asia 2022

In June, PolyU proudly brought home the "OSCAR of higher education" by winning the Teaching and Learning Strategy of the Year award at the Time Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia 2022. Nine PolyU disciplines rank top 10 nationally by Research.com

PolyU is thrilled to announce that the University has attained remarkable results in the recently announced 2022 Top Universities Rankings conducted by the international academic website Research.com, based on the assessment of h-index performance and bibliometric indicators.

Over 200 PolyU academics ranked as world's top-cited scholars

Last year, the world-class research produced by PolyU scholars across a wide range of disciplines was recognised in different global citation rankings, including the rankings by Stanford and Clarivate, reflecting the University’s exceptional research excellence.

PolyU takes leading position in six disciplines and one broad subject area in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) has attained remarkable results in the latest Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2022, with three disciplines ranked first in Hong Kong, and six disciplines and one broad subject area ranked among the top 50 in the world. Various Engineering-related disciplines also demonstrated a significant leap from last year.

PolyU shortlisted for Times Higher Education Awards Asia 2022

PolyU was shortlisted as one of the eight candidates for the category of “Teaching and Learning Strategy of the Year” in the Times Higher Education (THE) Awards Asia 2022. 

PolyU among top 20 in Asian university webometrics ranking

PolyU ranked 19th among Asia’s tertiary institutions in the latest 2022 Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, which is compiled by researchers from the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

Institutional Planning and Analytics Office (IPAO) organized the International Student Barometer and Student Barometer (ISB/SB) 2021 results presentation on 23 March 2021 and was attended by around 70 participants.

PolyU leaps to No. 5 in THE Young University Rankings

PolyU is pleased that the University has leapt from 12th to 5th place in the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2022. As a young university, PolyU has stepped up efforts to equip its students with the necessary skills to meet future challenges, while continuing to strive for excellence in the areas of education, research and knowledge transfer.
