This is the group photo of the first batch of students and teaching staff in 1973-74. "The class, as I recollect from memory, took part in the Institution of Structural Engineers (United Kingdom) Global Professional Examination and won the First Prize. The same honour went to our student the year after. The achievements were a tremendous pleasure and pride for our Polytechnic."
