Born and raised in Hong Kong, Mr Wan obtained a Higher Diploma in Information Systems and a bachelor’s degree in Computing from PolyU. Building his career from the ground up as an IT programmer, he has worked for two Fortune 500 multinational insurance companies. For 20 years, he has been dedicated to wealth management and financial services, possessing extensive experience in technology, operation, distribution, project management, digitalisation, and business transformation.
Mr Wan is passionate about leading business and operation transformations, specialising in redefining operating models and seamlessly combining technology with operations to deliver new end-to-end digital experiences to customers. Not only did he expose traditional insurance customers to new digital insurance shopping behaviours, but also increased the resilience and scalability of the companies.
Mr Wan has built a strong network that enables him to share and exchange ideas and experiences across various domains and further contribute to the wider society of Hong Kong and Asia.
