English is the language of global communication and our medium of instruction. Therefore, clear pronunciation for easy comprehension by a global audience is a vital skill. These workshops aim to enable participants to identify common problems with individual sounds as well as common sound problems over longer stretches of speech. As English-speaking issues are different for Putonghua and Cantonese speakers, separate workshops are offered to cater to each group. These workshops introduce exercises, physical practices and useful tools to help participants become more effective English communicators.
