On December 23, 2024, the main forum of the Asia Pacific Digital Economy Forum was held at the Haihua Island International Convention and Exhibition Center in Danzhou City, Hainan. Focusing on the theme of "Digital for good, Bridging the systemic divide" for discussion .
The forum covers topics such as digital international cooperation, academic theory of digital economy, intelligent vehicle networking, integration of computing power, and new consumption of digital culture and tourism. Its aim is to actively respond to the national strategy of developing the digital economy, undertake the practice and layout of Hainan Free Trade Port's goal of "strengthening towards numbers", and promote the ecological convergence of various elements such as digital economy, digital trade, and artificial intelligence in the Asia Pacific region in Hainan.
Research Center for Digital Economy took participate in various activities of the forum.
RCDE will maintain close ties with Hainan Free Trade Port in the field of digital economy research.
