The art of the erhu truly entered a stage of refinement and excellence with Professor Wang Guo-tong, whose contributions to the Liu Tianhua school are of particular significance. Wang Guo-tong stands as an outstanding representative of Liu Tianhua’s erhu tradition and is acclaimed as “the leading figure of the third generation of erhu art”
