The Times Higher Education (THE) Innovation and Impact Summit co-hosted by PolyU and THE has brought together over 200 delegates from 34 countries. The first day of the Summit saw #THEinnovation became the second top “trending topic” on Twitter in the UK, attracting the attention of some 700,000 Twitter users.
The University has topped the world in hospitality and tourism management and made it to the top 100 in the QS World University Rankings.
Knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship for the greater good

Dr Miranda Lou, Vice President (Administration and Business), shared PolyU’s strategies in fostering knowledge transfer and entrepreneurship to bring positive impact to society.
A PolyU study found that package tours can reduce customer satisfaction and future demand, due to a mismatch with tourists’ expectation.

PolyU recently staged the biennial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Global Student Challenge to promote entrepreneurial culture and cultivate social responsibility among young people.
