On this festive occasion of the 80th Anniversary of Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), it gives me great pleasure to congratulate you, on behalf of myself and the entire Technion Community.
Since it was established in 1937 PolyU has been constantly progressing and evolving. It has succeeded to deliver first-class academic education and groundbreaking research, attaining international status and placing it among the leading universities in the Asian region.
I extend sincere congratulations to your colleagues, students and alumni whose accomplishments throughout the years have made significant contributions not only to the local and international academic communities, but have also benefitted all mankind.
Please convey my very best wish to the entire PolyU family for many more years of productive teaching, research and discoveries.
I look forward to future collaboration and the strengthening of the relationship between our universities.
