CEE Members Elected Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering 2024
We are thrilled to announce that Prof. Jian-Hua Yin, Distinguished Research Professor of CEE, and Prof. Xiao Lin Zhao, Chair Professor of Civil Infrastructure of CEE, have been inducted as Fellows of the Hong Kong Academic of Engineering (HKAE) in recognition of their exceptional expertise and remarkable contributions to the field of engineering. The announcement was made at the 31st HKAE annual general meeting on 9 December 2024, and the induction ceremony was subsequently held on 20 January 2025.
Established in 1994, HKAE was formed by eminent engineers across various disciplines who are recognised as leaders in their profession, with a view to promote science advancement and the practice of engineering for the benefits of Hong Kong. HKAE aims to foster collaboration, innovation, and excellence in engineering, contributing to the development of Hong Kong SAR and, more broadly, China.
Join us in congratulating Prof. Yin and Prof. Zhao for this well-deserved recognition. Their achievements stand as a testament to the exemplary standards of excellence upheld by CEE members. We look forward to their continued dedication to advancing the frontiers of engineering knowledge and wish them success in their future endeavours!
