Biography

Dr. Wang Meizi is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She earned her B.E. in Physical Education from Minnan Normal University in 2016, followed by a B.Sc. in Sport Human Science from Ningbo University in 2019. In 2023, she completed her Ph.D. in Engineering Science at Óbuda University, Hungary. Subsequently, she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2023 to 2025.

Dr. Wang has published over 35 SCI-indexed journal papers and has served as a main co-investigator on two research grants. Her research explores the biomechanical characteristics of human locomotion, focusing on preventing sports injuries and enhancing movement performance, with applications in clinical assessment and the design of movement-related products, such as shoe insoles, sports footwear, and sports equipment.
