陳曉華（Sylvia Xiaohua Chen）教授現任香港理工大學應用社會科學系社會及文化心理學講座教授、醫療及社會科學院副院長、以及仁愛堂歐雪明兒童發展中心總監。她同時亦為發展中國家科學院（The World Academy of Sciences; TWAS）院士、歐洲科學與藝術院 (European Academy of Sciences and Arts) 院士、香港人文學院院士、美國心理科學協會（APS）會士、人格與社會心理學會（SPSP）會士、香港心理學會會士、英國高等教育學院（Advance HE）高級會士，英國心理學會特許心理學家、香港心理學會註冊心理學家及會士。

陳教授曾任亞洲社會心理學會（AASP）會長、現為Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology 主編、劍橋大學出版社文化與心理學系列主編，香港研究資助局（RGC）人文學及社會科學（心理及語言學分組）學科小組成員，並被大學資助委員會 (UGC) 任命為2026 年研究評審工作 (RAE) 社會科學小組成員。

陳教授的研究領域是人格與社會心理學、跨文化心理學、以及心理健康，致力於探討雙語與雙文化的社會心理學、文化與全球化、文化語境下的人格與社會行為，以及社會心理和文化對精神健康的影響。她研究雙語和雙文化如何影響情境化的人格和社會行為，尤其關注全球化如何影響雙文化個體在文化適應過程中思維方式、價值觀、信念和認同的變化。其研究團隊建立了「基於移民的文化適應」（immigration-based acculturation）和「基於全球化的文化適應」（globalisation-based acculturation）的理論框架，並提出了「全球化取向」（Global Orientations）的心理構念，相關實證研究涵蓋35個國家和地區，對社會融合和疫後時期合作方面的研究作重要貢獻。

陳教授曾獲得多項學術獎項，包括亞洲社會心理學會頒發的Jung-heun Park青年學者獎（2005年）及Michael Harris Bond傑出青年學者研究貢獻獎（2013年）、國際跨文化心理學會的傑出青年學者獎（2016年）、美國心理學會的傑出國際心理學家獎（2022年）、香港研究資助局的人文學及社會科學傑出學者獎（2018/19年）、《旭茉JESSICA》成功女性大獎2025等。並受邀在多個國際學術會議上作主旨報告，包括四年一度的第32屆和第33屆國際心理學大會。
