AP Entry Scholarships
For Overseas Admittees
PolyU provides a range of scholarships for undergraduate students to acknowledge both academic and non-academic achievements. These entry scholarships are open to international students, along with special subsidies for exchange programs aimed at enhancing professional knowledge and personal growth. For Local HKDSE Admittees
In addition to the University Academic Scholarships for the outstanding HKDSE students (please refer to Study@PolyU for eligibility), a departmental entry scholarship is guaranteed if you are a current year Secondary Six local student taking the HKDSE at your first attempt for admission to full-time Bachelor's Degree Schemes/ Programmes, attaining the aggregate HKDSE Score (Best 5) as follows:

Note: Awardees of Departmental Entry Scholarship for HKDSE students are not allowed to concurrently hold more than one scholarship administered by the University in the academic year.
Remarks:
1 For the purpose of calculating the admission scores, HKDSE level attainments will be converted to level points where Level 5**=8.5, 5*=7, 5=5.5, 4=4, 3=3, 2=2, 1=1 and Unclassified=0.
2 The Extended Mathematics modules will also be taken into account for scholarship consideration.
3 The University will continue to offer entry scholarships at university level for JUPAS students who attain at least Level 5** in any two subjects or above. For details, please visit the website of Academic Registry.
4 According to the University’s policy, a student can concurrently hold more than one scholarship administered by the University in an academic year if the total value of scholarships received by him/her does not exceed his/her annual tuition fee payable plus an allowance of HK$50,000 unless otherwise stipulated.
