Prof. Eric Ngai Wai-ting is a prominent researcher in Operations Management in Asia. Apart from being ranked among the world’s top 2% scientists in his field by Stanford University in 2021, he has also published four papers that are among the 1% most cited writings this decade. Over the years, Prof. Ngai has obtained more than 20 external research grants and sat on the editorial board of top-notch academic journals. Equally passionate about education development, he has played an instrumental role in shaping the Business Analytics programme of PolyU, taking the lead in over 20 consultancy projects that bridged academic research with industry applications. Furthermore, he has served on the Research Grants Council, the National Competitive Grants Program, and the European Commission Council.
