Mr Dennis Ho Chiu-ping was one of the youngest Presidents of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) when he took up the post in 2015. He also served as Chairman of the HKICPA’s Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee, acting as Hong Kong’s representative at international events. In 2016, he was appointed by the Minister of Finance of the People’s Republic of China as the Advisor of the Government Accounting Standards Committee, and later as the Hong Kong Accounting Advisor in 2021. These positions not only enabled him to promote the development of the accounting profession, but also allowed him to contribute to the economic integration between Hong Kong and the Mainland.
