Prof. Benny Cheung Chi-fai is a renowned researcher and educator with expertise in Precision Engineering, Knowledge and Technology Management, and Enterprise Systems. His extensive research in knowledge and technology management utilise information processing and artificial intelligence technologies to support enterprises across various industries. Over the years, he has secured over HK$53 million in external research funding and has authored over 200 SCI/SSCI refereed journal papers. He holds five U.S. patents as well. Currently President of the Asian Society for Precision Engineering and Nanotechnology (ASPEN), Prof. Cheung is a proud recipient of many awards, including the 2017 A M Strickland Prize conferred by the Manufacturing Industries Division of The Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) in the UK, as well as the "STIP in Advanced Manufacturing" awarded by the BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize 2023.
