Mr Alan Yip Chi-wing is an award-winning international industrial designer who has designed over 1,000 products. His “Bamboo Stroll” roll-up flexible calculator, which is known as the “Sushi Calculator” worldwide, is included in the permanent collections of the Hong Kong Heritage Museum and the Design Museum in London. Throughout the years, Mr Yip has not only filed many international design registrations and patents, but also designed products for household names such as Philips, Nintendo, Hitachi, Daewoo and Hyundai. His talent has been recognised by a number of accolades around the globe, including the Red Dot Design Award, the iF Design Award, the China Red Star Design Award, and the World Outstanding Chinese Artist Award.
