Summary

Abstract

For safety-critical applications such as air navigation, unmanned systems, etc., GNSS positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) accuracy and security are highly demanded. In this talk, we will dive into GNSS receivers to make use of deeper-level measurements so as to find solutions for enhanced PNT accuracy and security. Dr Xu will introduce and show the superiority of advanced receiver architectures such as vector tracking loops, direct position estimation, and machine learning assisted GNSS signal processing. On the other hand, Dr Xu will also present the research on the evolving and emerging topic, i.e., GNSS spoofing. Both post-processing and real-time modes of spoofing generations are proposed. An image-based post-correlation way for continuous spoofing detection will also be introduced in this seminar.

Speaker
