Ms LO Xian Lin
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Aviation Engineering, 2020
Ms LO Xian Lin is a graduate of Bachelor of Engineering in Aviation Engineering at the erstwhile Interdisciplinary of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. After graduation, she joined Jardine Aviation Services as a Management Trainee, with diverse roles and responsibilities in the company. After serving as an Integrated Operations Centre Controller who oversees the day-to-day service delivery operations of the company, Ms Lo is currently managing contracts as a Commercial specialist.
With great enthusiasm and kindness, Ms Lo began her journey in community service by participating in various volunteer works internationally when doing her bachelor’s degree. Ranging from voluntary teaching in Yunnan to installing solar panels in a Cambodian school, she is deeply committed to promoting the wellbeing of the communities. Finding great value in empowering the less-fortunes to transform their lives, she continues to contribute the society by volunteering and managing a number of charity events, including MINDSET Jardine’s Bread Rescue in September 2021, ImpackHK Private Walk in September 2021, and World Human Trafficking Day EdenHK Pop-Up Store on 30 July 2021.

Ms YEUNG Ming Yee
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Air Transport Engineering, 2019
She is now a Planning Engineer in Scheduling and Heavy Maintenance Operations with Cathay Pacific. Her role oversees the execution of aircraft heavy checks and manage offshore storage activities. Her duties include managing both short-term and long-term schedules for aircraft light and heavy maintenance plans, optimizing the planned maintenance packages to ensure maximum aircraft availability while complying with regulatory requirements, as well as developing budget models using historical data to forecast aircraft maintenance costs.
Throughout her academic and professional journey, Ms YEUNG has demonstrated a strong commitment to both her industry and community. She was the PolyU student leader in organizing an aviation ramp safety event in collaboration with her AAE peers and the Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL) while pursuing her bachelor’s degree. With her professional expertise, she not only continuously supports the Department by serving as an alumni representative on different occasions, but also provides valuable guidance on career planning and inspires the current students.
