Deans Sharing 2Welcome to the Student Affairs Office (SAO) Annual Highlights for 2022/23. As per our inaugural issue published last year, this Highlights publication covers the major achievements and fruits of the work of SAO over the past academic year, as well as sharing from some of our dedicated students.

With the welcome return of normality after COVID-19, SAO has embraced an array of opportunities to resume activities that had come to a standstill for the past three years. Thanks to our colleagues’ boundless zest and dedication, SAO remained a supportive companion, and even a quasi-mentor, for our students in their pursuit of all-round education at the University.

Commemorating the 85th anniversary of our University in 2022 – a year full of celebrations and opportunities alike – SAO forged ahead by continuing its commitment to nurturing our students with plentiful occasions for them to connect with each other and to showcase both their curricular capabilities and their extra-curricular ones, as they immerse themselves in their valuable university lives. SAO always considers the different needs of
students from diverse backgrounds, thus offering a range of activities to help bring out the best in our students,
whether local or non-local.

Steered by our spirits – Supportive, Aspiring and Optimistic – SAO has been and will continue to keep standing as a staunch support for students with various talents, to help them excel in different aspects of their young lives.
