Mr. Edward Poon is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Human Health (HKEX: 1419), one of the biggest healthcare service providers in Hong Kong offering a wide spectrum of healthcare services including general practice, specialties and dental services, medical aesthetic, health check and medical imaging, to the Hong Kong community since 1997 and operating almost 70 medical centers, with more than 100 doctors and dentists. Mr. Poon is primarily responsible for overseeing the overall business operations of the group, as well as leading group’s corporate strategic development, customer management transformation, innovation and digital transformation. Mr. Poon joined the Group since 2003 and was responsible to build the internal infrastructure and processes of the group, he has extensive experience in collaborating with different partners and stakeholders in the industry including local and global insurance and corporate, government and hospital authority, drug and medical supplies companies, as well as new health tech and innovations companies, aiming to enhance customer experience, explore new market opportunities and consumerization of healthcare services. In the new paradigm of healthcare services, Mr. Poon is implementing new health services model to bring in more health insights and elements, extending the service catering not merely on physical wellness but also body-mind balance. Mr. Poon holds a degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Information Engineering) and the Master of Business Administration, both from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
