ACHIEVEMENTS AND RECOGNITION
Professor Cathy Hsu received the Martin Oppermann Memorial Award for Lifetime Contribution to Tourism Education at the 30th Annual International Society of Travel and Tourism Educators Conference in Miami, Florida, USA on 20-22 October 2011 in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the field of travel and tourism.
Dr Barry Mak recently received the Certificate of Appreciation from the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority in appreciation of his long and dedicated service as the chief examiner of the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination's Travel and Tourism subject for 15 years. The certificate was presented to Dr Mak on 5 December 2011.
