SHTM Team

Dr Qiang Ye joined the SHTM as a Research Fellow on 2 November 2010.

Mr Henry Ho joined the SHTM as a Technical Support Assistant in the IT team on 8 November 2010.

Ms Gladys Liu, Human Capital Administrative Assistant, is an alumna of the SHTM with an undergraduate degree in Tourism Management in 2008. Gladys joined us in February 2010 from Harbour Grand Hong Kong where she was the Front Office Administrator in the pre-opening team.

Ms Dianna Yu is an SHTM alumna who graduated in 2010 with an undergraduate degree in Tourism Management. She joined us as a Learning and Development Coordinator after completing a three-month internship in the Sales and Marketing Department of Hotel ICON.

Ms Patricia Chan, an SHTM alumna in Hotel Management, joined Hotel ICON as an Assistant Human Capital Officer in August 2010. Before joining us, she was a Human Resources Assistant at the Kowloon Hotel.

Mr Terence Lui, our Human Capital Manager and an SHTM alumnus in Hotel Management, joined us in September 2010 from the American Club where he was the Assistant Human Resources Manager. He has over 10 years of experience in learning and development, recruitment, and compensation and benefits.

Mr Francis Lau joined Hotel ICON in mid-June as Director of Learning and Development. He was previously with the Shangri-La Group in the HR area for 23 years, including 10 years' working in Mainland China. Francis is a seasoned professional who enjoys sharing his knowledge and helping to develop young HR practitioners.

Ms Judy Hou, Director of Human Capital, holds a Master in Hospitality Administration from, and has been a well-respected professor/researcher at, the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL). With over 18 years of hospitality/hotel industry experience in human resources, learning and development, and food and beverage management, Judy specialises in pre-openings, project development and L&D curriculum design. Judy joined the hotel in September 2009 from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group where she was the Director of Learning and Development.
