New Appointments

Mr Ian Lee joined the
SHTM as Senior Project Manager for the development of dedicated premises
and the new learning hotel. He was previously the head of operations
and control of the Miramar International Hotel Management Corporation,
and has extensive experience in the fields of hotel management, project
development, finance and internal controls. |

Ms Pauline Ngan joined
the SHTM as Marketing Manager to promote and market the school and its
industry activities. Ms Ngan was previously with the Hong Kong
Tourism Board, and has extensive experience in marketing communications. |

Eight SHTM colleagues received awards from the President of PolyU, Prof essor
Poon Chung-kwong, in late January for their lengthy dedicated service to university.
