70th Anniversary Core Celebratory Activity – Flags of Harmony and Unity

To celebrate the 10 th Anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR and the 70 th Anniversary of PolyU, over 20,000 staff, students, alumni and their companions, and friends of the University will assemble to form a giant Chinese national flag and a HKSAR regional flag in a major celebratory event entitled “Flags of Harmony and Unity”. The event will be held on Sunday 23 September from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground in Chai Wan. This will be an attempt to set a new world record and raise funds for PolyU, for supporting children's education in the mainland and for the elderly in Hong Kong .
