Led by Academic Supervisor Ir Lo Kok-keung, a team of mechanical engineering students has designed a hydro-power model car which can collect rain water for storage and for conversion into kinetic energy. Their innovation has won the championship in the regional round of the International Student Design Contest organized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers International.
