PolyU recently named its Logo Square after Dr and Mrs Chan Sui-kau in recognition of their generous donation of HK$ 8 million to support the University’s long-term development. Dr Chan is the founder of the Yangtzekiang Garment Limited and the YGM Group. During the naming ceremony held on 27 October, a commemorative plaque was unveiled by Dr Chan, his wife Mrs Chan Lam Moon-chun, PolyU Council Deputy Chairman Dr Ng Tat-lun, and President Prof. Timothy W.
