Biography

Professor Cynthia Leung served The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for more than 10 years. She was a Professor of APSS, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2009 to 2020. During her tenure, she was the Subject Panel Chair of Psychology. She was also the founding Programme Leader of the UGC-funded Master of Educational and Child Psychology (MECP) programme. She made great contributions to the development of the MECP programme and the Master of Arts in School and Community Psychology programme. She is currently the Honorary Professor of Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, LKS Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong. She is also the Adjunct Professor at the Mitchell Institute, Victoria University, Australia. Professor Leung is a registered Psychologist, Fellow, and a member of Division of Educational Psychology at The Hong Kong Psychological Society. She is also a member of The Australian Psychology Society.
