Biography

Miss LAM is an Instructor in the Department of Applied Social Sciences (APSS) at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). She holds a Master's Degree in Social Science (Social Work in Youth Stream) from the University of Hong Kong, as well as a Degree in Social Work from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

As a registered social worker, Miss LAM specialises in youth work, vocational training for youth, student counselling in tertiary education setting, academic counselling and family counselling. She has a strong passion for cultivating positive traits and attributes in young people. Before joining the PolyU, Miss LAM worked as an Assistant Social Work Officer in the Social Welfare Department, providing family services, and later began her journey in student counseling at other tertiary education institutes. She also has experience in rendering academic counseling to students, having worked as an academic counselor at PolyU. Currently, Miss LAM teaches Tomorrow's Leaders and some Service-Learning subjects at APSS.

With solid experience in field work and teaching, Miss LAM aspires to pass on her knowledge, experiences, and values to the next generation. She aims to facilitate young people in pursuing their goals and dreams through teaching and counseling.
