"Greening Hong
Kong by PolyU Alumni 2010" planting event will
be held at North District Park,
Sheung Shui on
7 November (Sunday). Jointly organized by
PolyU, the Federation of PolyU Alumni Associations and the Leisure &
Cultural Services Department, this event aims to unite the efforts of
all PolyU alumni to contribute towards the community and the betterment
of our environment. We target to mobilize 1,000 alumni, their family and
friends to join the event! Other than planting
activities, participants will also enjoy other
programmes like games, exhibition and entertainment.

Same as
previous years, this year's planting event also aims to raise funds
for The Community Chest of Hong Kong and PolyU.
While participants are encouraged to use public transport to go to the
event venue, shuttle buses will also be arranged to pick up participants
at PolyU Campus and Kowloon Tong MTR Station.
