UBDA Seminar - Cyber-Physical-Human Big Data Computing

Seminar

Poster-19_Oct_2018

Summary

A large amount of big data is sourced from cyberspace, physical space, and human space which in nature can be characterised by cross-domain heterogeneity. How to find a unified representation across the heterogeneous spaces and discover the knowledge is a key problem and imposing great challenges.

In this talk, Prof. Zhu first introduced the principal concept of Cyber-Physical-Human big data computing. Then, Prof. Zhu described the scientific problems of Cyber-Physical-Human big data computing. Last, Prof. Zhu presented his approaches with two applications: unified network representation and knowledge-guided cross-media analysis.
