Something about me:

Hi everyone, this is Christy! I am previously studied Translation and Interpretation in HKCC and I am now a final year student majoring in Bilingual Chinese Studies at PolyU.

I was confused when I first became a university student as everything was new to me. Luckily, I knew about the SYA Programme right after the registration day. The programme surprised me a lot as I have never thought about there will be a team specifically for SYA students and it is so considerate. I was then realized that I could also become a helping hand for the coming SYA students and I specially appreciate the aims of the programme as well, so that’s why I am here being the SYA Student Ambassador after a year. Thus, I wish to provide as much as I can for the newcomers and we could walk along the two-year pathway together.

Thanks for having me in the SYA Student Ambassador team. I believe that the team would be like the passing of the torch and become a remarkable journey to all of us. To all the lovely SYA students, let’s come and join our SYA family! I am sure that you could gain unexpected experiences and turn to a new and extraordinary chapter at PolyU!
