Introduction to Digital Presentation in Fashion

This subject explores digital media for presentation in the fashion industry. It introduces fundamental CAD skills, integrating 2D and 3D technologies to generate design ideas and create professional digital presentations for a global audience.
The subject is to equip students with foundational skills in digital presentation tools and visual communication, to create, design, and confidently present compelling fashion content using contemporary digital platforms and techniques.

Upon completion of the subject, students will be able to:

  • Introduce the fashion principle and elements, and idea presentation;
  • Demonstrate and introduce the principles and processes of digital fashion presentation;
  • Develop foundational skills in 2D CAD software for fashion illustration;
  • Provide hands-on experience with 2D & 3D CAD software to visualize and prototype fashion designs; and
  • Equip students with the skills to create a cohesive and professional digital fashion portfolio.
