Upon completion of the subject, students will able to:
- Identify and explain key accounting principles and terminology;
- Prepare and analyse basic financial records and statements;
- Apply accounting methods to track and report financial transactions;
- Understand the role of accounting in ethical business practices and regulatory compliance;
- Understand the role of financial system in supporting the real economy;
- Understand various types of financial instruments;
- Understand and apply the concepts of time value of money and valuation of financial instruments.
